I took a photo of two Plumeria flowers and added some filters to them to create this mixed media photo. The Plumeria is in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. It grows as a small tree or shrubs. The flowers are made into beautiful Hawaiian Lei's that are used for many occasions in the islands. I took the original photo at Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on the Big Island at the Old Airport walking trail.

Waimea is in the heart of Paniolo ( cowboy ) country with Parker Ranch Land surrounding the town. The Hawaiian Islands hold such a natural beauty that I am in awe every time I travel. I always have a camera with me as I never know what beauty will present itself to me. I enjoy taking landscape and seascape photographs along with other subjects.
